Our network partner DOPAK opens new research and development centre in Wroclaw. It offers a wide range of services for the plastics processing sector – training, laboratory, prototype workshop, technical school with seven advanced automatic lines for the production of pilot and test series in injection moulding. Network meeting in January 2022
Our next network meeting will take place on 27.01.2022.
After the successful start in phase 2, we will look back on the year 2021 and discuss further activities in research and public relations together. In addition to joint trade fair stands and presentations at various professional events, visits by Polish partners to Germany and a meeting of all partners in Poland are planned for 2022.

INMOLDNET was a partner of INNOFORM® 2021
Our network presented itself as a partner of INNOFORM® 2021, the “Online Event of Tooling and Plastics Processing” from 20 to 22 April 2021 in Bydgoszcz.
The market for tooling and plastics processing is constantly growing and changing. According to the organisers, the aim of INNOFORM® is to help entrepreneurs select proven services and products in this field.
Network manager Mirko Jacob presented the activities of the network in his lecture “Cooperation in the “INMOLDNET” network” at the Online International Conference INNOFORM® on 20 April 2021.
Knowledge platform “DiWiKu” opened
The digital knowledge platform for plastics, DiWiKu for short, is open. With this online platform, our network partner, Konstruktionsbüro Hein GmbH, offers you the opportunity 365 days a year to find business partners for your projects, to find out about the latest trends in the plastics industry and to exchange professional information.
DiWiKu is a project funded by the state of Lower Saxony (Hannover Region) and will be continuously expanded over the course of three years and beyond. In the first year, the focus will be on specialist lecture series, seminar series and two online trade fairs (elastomers / thermosets). You can find an overview of the dates here.

Network INMOLDNET exhibits at the 25th Technology Day Hein
The 25th Technology Day on 25 and 26 February 2021 will be held digitally for the first time this year. Visitors can expect a digital trade fair around plastics technology and toolmaking. The network INMOLDNET, managed by Cetex, will be present as an exhibitor.
Trade fair concept digital technology day
In order to be able to present the quality of our presence event also online and to offer a real added value for companies and participants, the focus of the online event is on technical lectures, company and product presentations as well as discussion rounds around the topic of plastics and beyond. Each exhibitor will also have a booth area where their portfolio and information materials can be presented.
Successful network meeting
On October 15th, 2020, the partners of our group met in the ITC Industrie- und Technologiepark HECKERT GmbH Chemnitz. Due to the current situation, the event was held hybrid. The partners used the opportunity to introduce each other, to exchange experiences intensively and to discuss the further strategy of the association. The topics of sustainability, resource efficiency and intelligent process networking were central points. The network is preparing to start the second phase from April 2021. The technological roadmap currently includes 20 innovative project approaches that will be implemented in the second phase. In addition, the intensification of international cooperation with the Polish partners is an important aspect, especially under the difficult conditions of the pandemic. Suitable concepts are developed here together.
We thank everyone involved for supporting this successful event.
2nd Network Meeting
On 15 October 2020 the partners meet for the next network meeting in the ITC Industrie- und Technologiepark HECKERT GmbH Chemnitz.
We expect 25 guests for an interesting exchange and constructive discussions about the contents of the network.
The network meeting will be a hybrid event with online participation of the Polish participants.
17. Chemnitzer Textiltechnik-Tagung (CTT) – postponed to 2021
The organisers of the 17th Chemnitzer Textiltechnik-Tagung (CTT) have decided to postpone the event planned for 1 and 2 April 2020 to March 31st and April 1st 2021 due to the spread of the corona virus. Further information will follow under www.chemtextiles.de.
27th BMWi SME Innovation Day postponed to 10 June 2021
Due to the difficult situation caused by the global corona pandemic, the BMWi’s SME Innovation Day 2020 in Berlin has been postponed to June 10, 2021.
At the next Innovation Day, more than 300 companies, research institutions and cooperation networks from all over Germany will be presenting new products, processes and services from a wide range of technology areas and industries, the development of which was supported by the BMWi’s open-technology innovation funding.
The planned highlights will not lose their relevance in 2021:
A comprehensive range of information is to provide information on the redesign of the funding conditions in the Central Innovation Program for SMEs (ZIM), a varied stage and lecture program will address cutting-edge innovation topics and the “International Area” will broaden your view beyond national borders, in particular to our neighboring country France.
